Pilates classes

We want our Pilates classes to give you the maximum amount of benefit possible. That’s why we keep our numbers small (maximum 8 per class) and don’t just offer standard Pilates; we incorporate our movement therapy & sports therapy skills into our classes. Our Pilates classes are designed to be adaptable, with exercises tailored to suit individual needs, ensuring everyone receives the attention they deserve.

Everyone gets offered the chance of a ‘start-up session’ where we carry out a full assessment based on what you want to achieve. In this session we carry out a comprehensive assessment to tailor exercises specifically for our classes, ensuring they are designed for your benefit. We also cover the fundamentals of Pilates, preparing you to join a class without feeling like a complete beginner.

How we use Pilates

When scheduling a start-up session, we commence with a comprehensive assessment which includes; joint range of movement, strength etc aligned with your goals. This detailed assessment guides us in determining the most beneficial class for you to attend, as well as integrating the results from your assessment into your Pilates class.

Additionally, we can provide recommendations for any extra steps needed to achieve optimal results. Pilates can be utilized as a standalone regular class or in conjunction with any treatment or rehabilitation for pain management.
